English abstract

The purpose of this paper is to provide a brief biography of Justo Garcia Morales on the occasion of the presentation of his Memoirs of a militant red, issued by the municipality of Orihuela, and written during the Spanish civil war. Justo Garcia Morales was also a librarian, literary critic and director of several collections of printed facsimiles of antique Spanish. Its activity as a librarian focused on the bibliographic information and the assessment and acquisition of Spanish literary and documentary heritage.

El propósito de este artículo es realizar una breve semblanza de Justo García Morales con motivo de la presentación de sus Memorias de un miliciano rojo, editadas por el Ayuntamiento de Orihuela, y escritas durante la guerra civil española. Justo García Morales fue, además de bibliotecario, crítico literario y director de varias colecciones de facsímiles de impresos españoles antiguos. Su actividad como bibliotecario se centró en la información bibliográfica y en la valoración y adquisición del patrimonio bibliográfico y documental español.
