English abstract

This memory book describes the experience of creating the Institutional Repository of Asturias (RIA) digital platform which forms part of the open access movement, and constitutes the first initiative carried out in Asturias in this field. This paper highlights the method, the goals, the participating organisations, the components of the system and the open access policies adopted by the Government of the Principality of Asturias.

Este libro de memorias describe la experiencia de la creación del Repositorio Institucional de Asturias (RIA), plataforma digital que forma parte del movimiento de acceso abierto, y constituye la primera iniciativa llevada a cabo en Asturias en este campo. Este documento destaca el método, los objetivos, las organizaciones participantes, los componentes del sistema y las políticas de acceso abierto, aprobada por el Gobierno del Principado de Asturias.
