English abstract

In this paper the author analyzes a particular type of documents, the thesis degree, as part of the university archives. Setting the goal of shedding light on aspects fundamental prelude to operations management and treatment of this documentation, the author addresses issues relating to legal of the thesis, the range, storage physics, automation and possible interaction between archival matters and librarianship. Finally, the author propose a draft Regulation for the storage and consultation with the thesis.

Italian abstract

Nell’ambito degli archivi universitari, l’autore analizza questa particolare tipologia di documenti, le tesi di laurea, ponendosi l’obiettivo di far luce sugli aspetti fondamentali che preludono alle operazioni di gestione e trattamento di questa documentazione. In particolare affronta le questioni relative alla natura giuridica delle tesi di laurea, allo scarto, alla conservazione fisica, all’automazione e alla possibile interazione tra archivistica a biblioteconomia. In ultimo, l’autore propone una bozza di regolamento per l’archiviazione e la consultazione delle tesi.
