This presentation discussed the basics of and drivers behind digital preservation, particularly distributed digital preservation, and looked in detail at two private LOCKSS networks (PLN), the Alabama Digital Preservation Network (ADPNet) and the Council of Prairie and Pacific University Libraries (COPPUL) PLN.
