English abstract

Consortial acquisition of online journals, e-books and subject databases makes a crucial contribution to safeguarding the supply of scientific information. This article is an outline of the practice of cooperative licensing of online resources in Austria.

Der institutionenübergreifende, also konsortiale Erwerb von elektronischen Zeitschriften, E-Books und Datenbanken leistet einen entscheidenden Beitrag zur Sicherstellung der wissenschaftlichen Informationsversorgung. Im folgenden soll die Praxis dieser kooperativen Lizensierung von Online-Ressourcen in Österreich kurz skizziert werden.
