English abstract

In this article, the author offers some very brief insights into the librarians and librarianship in Venezuela, as well as some of his personal experiences in an information literacy (IL) program. Also, he comments briefly his experience as a Library and Information Science (LIS) student in Europe, as he tooks his Master in Norway, Estonia, Italy and Switzerland. Finally he presents some notes on his PhD project, currently taking place in Tallinn University.
