English abstract

This document describes a test carried out between 2011 and 2012 to assess the completeness of the information service provider OAI-PMH and not OAI-PMH, relevant to the materials contained in the institutional repositories of universities and research institutions. The intention was to look for academic search engines that could facilitate the researches of the university users. Repositories having a significant number of records have been selected and then their presence in the service providers has been verified.

Questo lavoro analizza un test eseguito a cavallo tra il 2011 e 2012 per valutare la completezza delle informazioni di service provider OAI-PMH e non, relativamente ai materiali contenuti negli archivi istituzionali di Università e Enti di ricerca. L’intenzione era quella di cercare academic search engine che potessero agevolare le ricerche di utenti universitari. Sono stati scelti repositories che avessero un significativo numero di record e successivamente è stata testata la loro presenza nei service provider.
