English abstract

The System Information Libraries and the University of Buenos Aires-SISBI-awareness developed a plan aimed specifically at the heads of the various faculties of the UBA to raise awareness and publicize the issue of open access. This presentation aimed to give an introduction to the topic, develop the benefits of open access, the two strategies to achieve it, with a brief description of the situation in Argentina and especially in the faculties of the UBA.

El Sistema de Bibliotecas y de Información de la Universidad de Buenos Aires -SISBI- desarrolló un Plan de sensibilización dirigido especialmente a las autoridades de las diferentes Facultades de la UBA para concientizar y dar a conocer el tema del acceso abierto. Esta presentación tuvo como objetivo hacer una introducción al tema, desarrollar los beneficios del acceso abierto, las dos estrategias para alcanzarlo, haciendo una breve descripción de la situación en Argentina y en especial en las Facultades de la UBA.
