English abstract
Abbreviations form an important part of the vocabulary in the Slovene Dictionary of Library Terminology. The dictionary analysis and excerption of technical and scientific texts has shown different patterns of usage, thus the aim of the paper is to analyse the occurence of abbreviations in various authorative sources and present an inventory.
Slovenian abstract
Kratice predstavljajo pomemben del besedišča slovenskega Bibliotekarskega terminološkega slovarja. Primerjalna analiza slovarja in izpisovanja strokovne ter znanstvene literature sta pokazala raznoliko rabo kratic, nekatere prihajajo tudi iz tujih jezikov, zato je v članku predstavljen njihov nabor, ob tem pa še njihova pojavnost v različnih avtoritativnih virih.
