English abstract
The library system at the Univeristy of Torino decided to purchase a Discovery Tool as a single-search point to all the university collections. After the purchase, a start-up period began when all the configurations were made. During this beta-phase, to verify the efficacy of the chosen features, a usability test was performed involving libraries users. Patrons were asked to perform test searches with the new tool and provide comments and opinions. The results helped the library system staff to tune the configurations in order to offer a more efficient search tool.
