English abstract

Eleven years front man of the Association of Austrian Librarians: Harald Weigel, 2003-2013 president of the AAL answers 10 questions to Bruno Bauer (translation of the title). Harald Weigel answers questions about assignments and roles of the Association of Austrian Librarians and talks about the tasks of its committees and conferences as well as its publications. Also discussed are national and international cooperations of LIS-associations and reasons for why one should be a member of the Association of Austrian Librarians. With a background of eleven years presidency he refers to highlights and disappointments, to prospects for and his future personal dedication to the AAL.

German abstract

Harald Weigel beantwortet Fragen über Aufgabe und Funktion der Vereinigung Österreichischer Bibliothekarinnen und Bibliothekare und spricht über die Rolle der von ihr betriebenen Kommissionen und Konferenzen sowie der von ihr herausgegebenen Publikationen. Thematisiert werden auch Kooperationen mit anderen BID-Vereinigungen auf nationaler und internationaler Ebene sowie Gründe, warum man Mitglied in der Vereinigung Österreichischer Bibliothekarinnen und Bibliothekare werden soll. Vor dem Hintergrund seiner elfjährigen Präsidentschaft spricht Weigel auch über Highlights und Enttäuschungen, über Perspektiven für die VÖB und über sein zukünftiges Engagement für die VÖB.
