English abstract

On March 11, 2004, a cell jihadist was perpetrating the major terrorist attack of the History of Spain. On those facts and its consequences it has written very much. Four years later, we try to put order and to present a historiographical approximation. For it, it, has looked, gathered, analyzed and arranged about seven hundred title bibliographical and of audio-visual; writings or produced in several languages published in numerous countries and presented in different formats. Several are the treated topics, though those of major interest for the analysts of the whole world have been: the war against the international terrorism of jihadist type, the result of the elections of March 14, the follow-up of the attempts for the mass media and the sanitary attention to the victims. Definitively, along these pages we will observe, as such a concrete fact in the History of a country, it can provoke such interest that generates, in a short period of time, a set of sources of information without precedents.

Spanish abstract

El 11 de marzo de 2004, una célula yihadista perpetraba el mayor atentado terrorista de la Historia de España. Sobre aquellos hechos y sus consecuencias se ha escrito mucho. Cuatro años después, pretendemos poner orden y presentar una aproximación historiográfica. Para ello se ha buscado, recogido, analizado y ordenado alrededor de setecientos títulos bibliográficos y de audiovisuales; escritos o producidos en varios idiomas, publicados en numerosos países y presentados en distintos formatos. Varios son los temas tratados, aunque los de mayor interés para los analistas de todo el mundo han sido: la guerra contra el terrorismo internacional de corte yihadistas, el resultado de las elecciones del 14 de marzo, el seguimiento de los atentados por los medios de comunicación y la atención sanitaria a las víctimas. En definitiva, a lo largo de estas páginas observaremos, como un hecho tan concreto en la Historia de un país, puede provocar tal interés que genere, en un corto periodo de tiempo, un conjunto de fuentes de información sin precedentes.
