English abstract

The organizations in general are constantly influenced by their surroundings or environment (the economy, politics, science and technology, demography, society, law, market / customers, suppliers, competitors, etc.), showing characteristics, trends and behaviors evident as instability, uncertainty, dynamism, risky, permanent changes in time and place; They are like "uncharted territory". Given these features organizations need to understand the behavior of their environment to know which situations they face and come through it more likely. Hence the strategic planning that directs organizations to confront, adapt, anticipate and influence their environment arises.
