English abstract

The Open Journal Systems - OJS use in academic journals Peruvian universities is evaluated. The OJS was designed to facilitate the development of open access publishing and provides the technical infrastructure not only for the online presentation of journal articles, but also the entire editorial workflow and includes article submission, peer review and indexing.

Spanish abstract

Se evalúa el uso de Open Journal Systems - OJS en las revistas académicas de las universidades peruanas. El OJS fue diseñado para facilitar el desarrollo de publicaciones de acceso libre y provee la infraestructura técnica no sólo para la presentación en línea de los artículos de revista, sino además el flujo editorial completo e incluye el envío de artículos, revisión por pares e indexación.
