English abstract

Impressions are shared from the 45th annual conference of LIBER. It was held in Helsinki, Finland, under the title „Libraries Opening Paths to Knowledge“. Open Science is a main topic of the conference. The reports address issues such as access to research studies, managing research data, the new role of academic libraries, turning them into a laboratory, as well as a glance into the future – what will happen to library shelves in 2025. Part of the article describes a visit to the largest academic library in Finland, this of the University of Helsinki.

Споделени са впечатления от 45-тата годишна конференция на LIBER, проведена в Хелзинки, Финландия, под наслов „Libraries Opening Paths to Knowledge“. Отворената наука е основна тема на конференцията. В докладите са засегнати проблеми като достъп до научни изследвания, управление на научно-изследователски данни, новата роля на академичните библиотеки, превръщането им в лаборатория, както и поглед в бъдещето – какво ще се случи с библиотечните стелажи през 2025 г. Част от статията описва посещение на най-голямата академична библиотека във Финландия, тази на Университета на Хелзинки.
