English abstract

Events that we have found interesting or, at least, curious, and a summary of the main trends that have been observed during 2004 and that will surely remain present during the year 2005. We have structured this note into two sections: The first is entitled "Overview of the world of professional information" and is written to show the main trends in our context. The second section, "Ephemerides", brings together a selection of the main events of library science and documentation of the year 2004. It is organized in the following sections: Associations, Libraries and archives, Congresses, Publishing, Companies and market, and Internet. Within each section, the information is sorted chronologically.

Efemèrides que ens han semblat interessants o, si més no, curioses, i un resum de les principals tendències que s’han observat durant el 2004 i que ben segur seguiran presents durant l’any 2005. Hem estructurat aquesta nota en dos apartats. El primer es titula «Panorama general del món de la informació professional» i està redactat per tal de mostrar quines són les principals tendències en el nostre context. El segon apartat, «Efemèrides», aplega una selecció dels principals esdeveniments de la biblioteconomia i documentació de l’any 2004. Està organitzat en els apartats següents: Associacions, Biblioteques i arxius, Congressos, Edició, Empreses i mercat, i Internet. Dins de cada apartat, les informacions s’ordenen cronològicament.

Spanish abstract

Efemérides que nos han parecido interesantes o, cuando menos, curiosas, y un resumen de las principales tendencias que se han observado durante el 2004 y que seguramente seguirán presentes durante el año 2005. Hemos estructurado esta nota en dos apartados: El primero se titula «Panorama general del mundo de la información profesional» y está redactado para mostrar cuáles son las principales tendencias en nuestro contexto. El segundo apartado, «Efemérides», reúne una selección de los principales acontecimientos de la biblioteconomía y documentación del año 2004. Está organizado en los apartados siguientes: Asociaciones, Bibliotecas y archivos, Congresos, Edición, Empresas y mercado, e Internet. Dentro de cada apartado, las informaciones se ordenan cronológicamente.
