English abstract
Reading is the process of decoding the codes that contain information in order to transfer them to other individuals and times. The quality of the process is directly proportional to the conscious continuation of the reading action. Qualified reading comes to life when done regularly, continuously and critically. In addition to bringing about significant transformations on the traditional patterns of reading, digital publications have begun to bring about changes that will undermine the main actors of reading, such as readers, publishers, writers and librarians. In this study; In addition to providing advantages, the reflections on reading behaviors of digital environments with problems and even uncertainties about the future are examined. In this context, the effects of digital reading on the individual, society, publisher and librarians were emphasized and suggestions were made to solve the problems in the librarianship sector.
