English abstract

The course aims to inform teams of archives, libraries and museums about copyright issues. A first section covers basic aspects of intellectual property in Spain and the EU. The second block deals with copyright applied to libraries, from the perspective of common sense and existing good practices. Trends are projected, with special emphasis on the European Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market (Copyright Directive 2019).

Spanish abstract

El curso pretende informar sobre aspectos de derechos de autor a personal de archivos, bibliotecas y museos. Un primer apartado cubre aspectos básicos de la propiedad intelectual en España y la UE. El segundo bloque aborda derechos de autor aplicados a bibliotecas, bajo la perspectiva del sentido común y las buenas prácticas existentes. Se realiza proyección de las tendencias, con especial énfasis en la Directiva Europea del Mercado Único Digital (DEMUD, 2019).
