English abstract

Every year Terena organizes a meeting about networking and most recent topics relating to it. In this event, people attending the meeting come from NRENS countries (European Scientific Areas Network), but also research workers from business, big factories and corporations, research laboratories as well as working groups at high level all over the world. In 2002 the meeting took place at Limerick, Ireland, 3-6 June.

Terena organizza annualmente un’interessante conferenza dedicata ai temi di maggior attualità in ambito di networking. Vi partecipano delegati provenienti principalmente dalle NRENs, le reti della ricerca scientifica europee, ma anche ricercatori dei laboratori di grandi aziende, spesso coinvolti in comitati di standardizzazione e working groups specialistici ad alto livello. L’edizione di quest’anno si è tenuta a Limerick, Irlanda, tra il 3 e il 6 giugno.
