English abstract

History is not made in the present, but by looking to the past. So, with that perspective, I turn to the experiences I lived and that brought me to the Library and Information Science course at UFSCar (BCI/UFSCar). Remembering such memories that, although individual, are entangled with collective memories, with the intention of collaborating for the construction of the social memory of the BCI/UFSCar course, is part of a project, submitted by me on account of the celebration of the 45th anniversary of the UFSCar, entitled "Memory of the BCI course: between remembering and forgetting 20 years later!" Much of my professional history intersects with the history of the BCI/UFSCar course.

A história não se faz no presente, mas ao se olhar para o passado. Assi, com esse olhar, é que me volto para as experiências que vivi e que me trouxeram para o curso de Biblioteconomia e Ciência da Informação da UFSCar (BCI/UFSCar). Rememorar tais lembranças que, apesar de individuais, estão embrenhadas com lembranças coletivas, com o intento de colaborar para a construção da memória social do curso de BCI/UFSCar, faz parte de um projeto, submetido por mim por conta da comemoração dos 45 anos da UFSCar, intitulado "Memória do curso de BCI: entre lembrar e esquecer 20 anos depois!" Muito da minha história profissional se cruza com a história do curso de BCI/UFSCar.
