The Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) is an innovative idea to promote higher education accessibility and success in the world today. It is a global, online database that stores academic credit records of students, enabling institutions to verify course and subject details and provide a more efficient and secure system for storing, tracking, and evaluating student credits and provides numerous benefits to students. The paper highlights the advantages and disadavatnges of ABC along with its functions and the role of libraries in ABC. Authors found that the awareness of ABC at an institutional level is important in order to ensure its successful implementation and use.
