English abstract
Historical reconstruction of the Instituto Superior de Formación Técnica N°8, a pioneering institution in the province of Buenos Aires that began its activities in the training of librarians in 1948 and that had a great impact on the professionalization of library staff both in the province and in the interior of the country.

Reconstrucción histórica sobre el Instituto Superior de Formación Técnica N°8, institución pionera de la provincia de Buenos Aires que inicia sus actividades en la formación de bibliotecarias y bibliotecarios en 1948 y que alcanzó un gran impacto en la profesionalización del personal bibliotecario tanto en la provincia como en el interior del país.
