El tratamiento de los datos personales en Internet

Abstract(s)

By the present document, it is tried to give a global and present idea of the implications that the appearance of Internet is supposing in the regulation referring to the collection, treatment and cession of the personal data. For that reason, in the present text, we are a logical contrast between the potentialities that the New Technologies grant as opposed to the lenders of services the limitations and obligations that legally are prevailing with the purpose of defending different rights, between which it is the right to the security and the integrity of the personal data.

Mediante el presente documento, se pretende dar una idea global y actual de las implicaciones que la aparición de Internet está suponiendo en la regulación referente a la recogida, tratamiento y cesión de los datos personales. De ahí que, en el presente texto, nos encontremos una lógica contraposición entre las potencialidades que las Nuevas Tecnologías otorgan a los prestadores de servicios frente a las limitaciones y obligaciones que legalmente se están imponiendo con la finalidad de defender distintos derechos, entre los que se encuentra el derecho a la seguridad y la integridad de los datos personales.
