Abstract(s)
This article focuses on the justifications of Open Access. Going beyond well known aspects as the so called journal crisis it refers to aspects as democracy and the digital divide.
Der Artikel beschreibt die Begründungen für Open Access, den entgeltfreien Zugang zu wissenschaftlichen Informationen. Er geht in dieser Beschreibung über klassische Argumentationen (wie die Zeitschriftenkrise) hinaus und verweist auch auf demokratietheoretische Implikation von Open Access und die Digital Divide Thematik.
