The Venetian book industry progressively declined from a dominant position in the Italian publishing market to a secondary role. The author brings the statisticses of publishing enterprises in the main cities of Veneto region and in particular Venitian. He wants offer a first image of the their evolution in the course of the XIX century.

L’editoria veneziana progressivamente passò, nei confronti del mercato editoriale italiano, da una posizione egemone a un ruolo di comprimaria. L'autore riporta i dati statistici delle imprese editoriali venete e in particolare veneziane. Si vuole offrire una prima immagine d’assieme della loro evoluzione nel corso del XIX secolo.
