English abstract

The paper describes newspaper processing and cataloguing in the Poznan University Library. The authors attempt at presenting the current state of affairs in processing newspapers, discussing, however, differences in cataloguing current newspapers and papers that have been appearing for many years. Problems in cataloguing, processing that relate to the publishing policy of the country, and collection acquisition policy in the library are also discussed .

Tematem referatu jest opracowanie gazet w Bibliotece Uniwersyteckiej w Poznaniu. Autorki podjęły próbę przedstawienia aktualnego stanu opracowania gazet, omawiając jednak różnice w opracowaniu gazet bieżących i gazet ukazujących się od wielu lat. Przedstawione zostały również problemy opracowania, które wiążą się z polityką wydawniczą kraju a także polityką gromadzenia zbiorów w bibliotece.
