English abstract

This work shows the websites architecture of newspapers in Spain: ABC ( http://www.abc.es ), El Mundo ( http://www.elmundo.es/ ), El País ( http://www.elpais.es ), El Periódico de Catalunya ( http://www.elperiodico.com/ ), La Razón ( http://www.larazon.es ) and La Vanguardia( http://www.lavanguardia.es/ ). We made a two fold analysis: On the one hand, a vision of the sections, that is to say, the distribution in each newspaper; and on the another, to study the main services offered to the user. The examples shown consist on connections to the websites related to the different explanations of the text. It has to be taken into account that contents were analyzed during September - October of 2002; since then, modifications have likely been produced.

Se presenta la arquitectura de los web sites adoptada por los periódicos de información general de mayor tirada en España: ABC ( http://www.abc.es ), El Mundo ( http://www.elmundo.es/ ), El País ( http://www.elpais.es ), El Periódico de Catalunya ( http://www.elperiodico.com/ ), La Razón ( http://www.larazon.es ) y La Vanguardia ( http://www.lavanguardia.es/ ). Para ello nos basamos en un doble análisis: Por un lado, una visión de cuáles son las secciones, es decir, la distribución adoptada por cada diario; y por otro, cuáles son los principales servicios que aportan al usuario. Los ejemplos presentados consisten en conexiones a los web sites correspondientes a las distintas explicaciones reseñadas en el texto. Al mismo tiempo, conviene señalar que los contenidos vertidos fueron analizados durante los meses de septiembre - octubre de 2002, por lo que en algunos casos pueden existir modificaciones respecto a lo presentado.
