English abstract
Today it is essential for libraries to promote the use of their services, make themselves be known and attract readers. This article discusses the cultural dissemination and marketing in Spanish public libraries, based on an analysis of 183 web sites. Information was gathered on activities, initiatives and resources that were then systematized, quantified and described.

Hoy es imprescindible que las bibliotecas promuevan el uso de sus servicios, se den a conocer y atraigan a los lectores. Este artículo analiza la difusión cultural y el marketing en las bibliotecas públicas españolas. Se consultan 183 sitios web. Se recopilan las actividades, iniciativas y recursos. Se sistematizan, cuantifican y describen.
