English abstract

DCMI (Dublin Core Metadata Initiative) had just held a successful annual conference (DC-2006) at Manzanillo, Mexico on Oct.3-6, 2006. This paper reported the ongoing activities during the conference and through out the whole past year, outlined the annual progresses of DCMI and all its Working Groups, and made a brief introduction on the recent restructuring of DCMI working mechanism and the announcement of DC-2007 conference.

本文详细介绍了都柏林核心（DC）元数据2006年年会的基本情况，以及DC元数据制订和维护机构DCMI近一年来的活动和所取得的成果，对DCMI正在发生的变化近期的活动进行了展望。
