Abstract

[English abstract] AIDA organized the fall session of ECIA meeting (European Council of Information Associations). It has been possible to give hospitality to members from Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Portugal and Sweden. The meeting allowed an exchange of experiences on the activities of the different documentalists ‘associations all over the Europe, and of opinions on difficult themes such as a new law on copyright. A Code of Ethics has been adopted, involving all the associations.

[Italian abstract] L’AIDA ha organizzato la sessione autunnale 1999 del meeting ECIA (European Council of Information Associations). E’ stato possibile ospitare i rappresentanti delle associazioni di Belgio, Francia, Germania, Gran Bretagna, Portogallo e Svezia. La riunione ha consentito uno scambio di conoscenze sulle attività delle diverse associazioni dei documentalisti in Europa ed anche uno scambio di opinioni su temi controversi quali quello di una nuova normativa sul copyright. Si è inoltre adottato un Codice Etico che impegna le varie associazioni.
