Uno degli ultimi temi d'interesse per i professionisti dell'informazione è costituito dall'esame dei periodici elettronici e dei consorzi a loro collegati. In ambito Aida, l'attenzione si è manifestata pubblicamente con il Seminario, complemento della riunione Ecia svoltasi a Pontignano nell'ottobre 1999.

One of the most interesting themes for information specialists is the examination of electronic journals and the related consortia. AIDA showed its interest with the tutorial at the Ecia meeting in Pontignano, October 1999.
