Analitzar l'evolució histórica de les xarxes informàtiques no resulta gaire fàcil. Molts dels organismes es van constituir pel desenvolupament d'un determinat projecte i van desaparéixer amb el mateix; la complexitat s'incrementa a mida que s'incorporen nous organismes o es transformen les estructures.

Network Internet: applications in libraries. To analyze the historical evolution of the computer science networks is not too much easy one. Many of the organisms were constituted for the development of a determined project and disappeared with the same one; the complexity is increased as new organisms get up themselves or the structures become.
