Abstract

En Bolivia se carece de Unidades de Información en Línea con bases de datos a texto completo, que son necesarias para el desarrollo del país. En la actualidad, se puede acceder por medio de INTERNET a ciertas bases de datos en forma limitada, especialmente en temáticas altamente especializadas.
Por lo tanto, el proyecto de la Biblioteca Virtual en Salud y Ambiente-Bolivia propone el acceso a la información científica técnica de manera ágil, dinámica y sin restricciones, poniendo a disposición de los usuarios bases de datos vía INTERNET, superando de esta manera la falta de información en los temas de salud y ambiente.

In Bolivia it is lacked Units of Information with data bases to plaintext in line, that is necessary for the development of the country. At the present time, it is possible to be acceded by means of Internet to certain data bases in limited form, specially in thematic highly specialized. Therefore, the project of the Virtual Library in Health and Environment-Bolivia propose the access to technical the scientific information, dynamic way and without restrictions, making available of the usuary data bases via Internet, surpassing this way the lack of information in the health subjects and atmosphere.
