El Servicio Nacional de Geología y Minería (SERGEOMIN), con el auspicio de la Agencia Canadiense de Desarrollo Internacional (ACDI) y del Ministerio de Recursos Naturales de Québec (Canadá), está ejecutando el subcomponente IMAGENERIA del Proyecto: Reformas a la Industria Minera (REFORMIN), que tiene por objeto prioritario, la digitalización del patrimonio documental del Centro de Información Geocientífica de SERGEOMIN. Una vez concluida esta etapa, se buscará tener acceso a diferentes documentos geológico-mineros que puedan existir a nivel de “COMIBOL”, SETMIN, el ex Banco Minero de Bolivia y, al mediano plazo, se intentará suscribir convenios con Universidades del país que tengan carreras de Ingeniería Minera e Ingeniería Geológica, en función de tener acceso a la documentación existente, en la perspectiva de poder digitalizar la misma y de esa manera, en una sola página web, se podrá concentrar toda la información geológico-minera disponible en el país.

The Servicio Nacional de Geología y Minería (SERGEOMIN), with the auspice of the Canadian International Development Agency (ACDI) and the Ministry of Natural Resources of Québec (Canada), is executing subcomponent IMAGENERIA of the Project: Reforms to the Mining Industry (REFORMIN), that it intends high-priority, the digitalization of the documentary patrimony of the geological information center of SERGEOMIN.
