La Biblioteca della nuova Università vuole dedicare maggior attenzione alle attività didattiche e deve avere un ruolo sempre più attivo nella 'creazione' di un utente capace di muoversi nella complessità del mondo dell'informazione. La biblioteca Rostoni ha dato delle risposte a queste esigenze, ad es. approntando vari strumenti per l'accesso alle risorse elettroniche (tra cui la "LIUC Virtual Library"). Tuttavia la biblioteca digitale non basta: occorre formare utenti 'information literate', e alla Rostoni ciò si è realizzato attraverso l'uso di e-books come strumento di publishing di contenuti.

The Library of this new University wants to dedicate more attention to teaching activities and to have an active role in “creating” a user able to move in the information world. The library Rostoni tried to answer to these needs making tools to electronic resources access (for example, LIUC Virtual Library). However digital library is not enough: users habve to be “information literate”, and this happened at Rostoni Library through the help of e-books as content publishing tools.
