Desde hace algunos años, el Centro de Información de la Isla de la Juventud trabaja en la prestación de servicios especiales de información dirigidos a algunas categorías priorizadas de usuarios. La diseminación selectiva de la información es uno de ellos. Este servicio se destina a jefes de colectivos, especialistas de II grado, profesionales que trabajan en temas de candidatura y otros, a partir no sólo de los requerimientos de la labor que desempeñan, sino también del papel que los jefes de colectivo deben desempeñar como difusores de la información entre sus subordinados. Sin embargo, la revisión de este aspecto arrojó que tal función no se estaba cumpliendo cabalmente. Surgió el problema de cómo seleccionar mejor a los usuarios del servicio y se valoró posibilidad de seleccionar "líderes científicos" dentro de los grupos estudiados.

[English abstract]

For some years, the Information center of the Island of Youth has been working in the benefit of special services of information directed to some prioritized categories of users. The selective dissemination of the information is one of them. This service destines heads of groups, specialists of II degree, professionals who work in subjects of candidacy and others, to also start off not only of the requirements of the work that carry out, but of the paper that the group heads must carry out like diffusers of the information between their subordinates. Nevertheless, the revision of this aspect threw that such function was not being fulfilled exactly.
