U radu se govori o višedecenijskom angažovanju Narodne biblioteke Srbije u Hilandaru. Učinjeno je mnogo na zaštiti, obradi i smeštaju kulturnih dobara. Dobar deo knjižnog fonda, putem kataloga, postao je dostupan široj kulturnoj javnosti. Hilandarska grafika je ugledala svetlo dana. Konzerviran je veliki broj rukopisa, povelja i jevanđelja. Biblioteka manastira Hilandara je dobila nove prostorije, što sa aspekta čuvanja i korišćenja knjižnog fonda mnogo znači.
[English abstract]
In the Paper, the author is mentioning the Engagement of the National Library of Serbia in the life and work of Chilandar, during the several past decenies. A lot has been done for/on the Conservation, Treatment and Arrangement of the Cultural Heritage. A great part of the Library Holdings has became accessible to a large cultural Public through catalogues. The Grafics from Chilandar appear to the daylight. A huge number of Manuscripts have been conserved, among other the Charter and the Gospel. The Library of the Monastry Chilandar obtained some new rooms, that is very important from the aspect of Preservation and Usage of the Library Holdings.
