Abstract

Las políticas de selección y adquisición, derivadas del proceso evaluatorio continuo de las fuentes y canales de información, rigen la ejecución de estos procesos. La selección y adquisición es una función directa del desarrollo de los recursos, es la toma de decisiones y la realización de las gestiones que implementan las políticas, y permite cumplir los objetivos propuestos. Las políticas, en general, sustentan el trabajo de los selectores y gestores, lo fundamentan, lo orientan y le suprimen, sobre todo, parte del componente individual o subjetivo del selector, con cuyo criterio único muchas materias, fuentes y canales pudieran quedar ignoradas durante años.

The policies of selection and acquisition, derived from the continuous evaluation process of the sources and information channels, govern the execution of these processes. The selection and acquisition are direct function of the development of the resources, are the decision making and the accomplishment of the managements that implement the policies, and allow to fulfill the objectives proposed. The policies, in general, sustain the work of selectors and managers, base it, orient it and they suppress to them, mainly, part of the individual or subjective component of the selector, with whose unique criterion could be ignored during years many matters, sources and channels.
