En este artículo se cuenta una de las anécdotas de la Historia en relación a la Bibliotecología. Este es el inició de una serie de artículos que se publicaran para compartir con el gremio de bibliotecarios. Esta anécdota es sobre Ricardo Palma y Manuel González Prada, ambos Directores de la Biblioteca Nacional del Perú.

This article presents the anecdotes of History in relation to the Information Science. This is the first one of a series of articles that were published to share with the librarians. The present anecdote is about Ricardo Palma and Manuel González Prada, both Directors of the National Library of Peru.
