El uso y los usuarios de la información electrónica constituyen un tema muy amplio, que no puedo pretender abordar en su totalidad. Esta ponencia pretende ofrecer algunas observaciones basadas en la experiencia (propia y ajena), en lecturas, y en un importante conjunto de pensamiento sobre el tema elaborado durante la última década o más.

The use and users of electronic information constitutes a very large topic, which I cannot hope to cover at all extensively. This paper will offer some observations based on experience (my own and other people's) reading, and a good deal of thinking about the issues over the last decade or so.
