Презентацията накратко запознава с отделните формати MARC, като са представени примери от базата данни на Библиотеката при Техническия университет- София (Q- Series. Прави се съпоставка на изискванията на форматите MARC с изискванията на съществуващите библиотечни стандарти в България. Дават се някои идеи и предложения за разработване на единни правила (стандарти) за работа с MARC 21 в българските библиотеки.

The presentation introduces in brief with different formats MARC and each of them is presented with examples from data base Q-Series of Library of Technical university of Sofia. It is compare requirements of MARC formats with requirements of existing library standards in Bulgaria. It is given some ideas and suggestions for development of uniform rules (standards) for using MARC 21 in Bulgarian libraries.
