Convocados por la Comisión de Legislación y Puntos Constitucionales que preside el diputado Hugo Salazar Mata (Partido Acción Nacional), los días 11 y 17 de mayo de 2002 se realizaron dos foros de consulta sobre el derecho al acceso a la información, en el vestíbulo del Recinto Legislativo.

Called by the Commission of Legislation and Constitution Issues chaired by the MP Hugo Salazar Mata (from the National Action Party), the days 11 and 17 of May 2002, there took place two open citizens' consultations forums to discuss the Nuevo Leon state proposal of bill of right to the freedom access to information, at the lobby of the Congress.
