Abstract

[English abstract]USMARC is one of widely used machine-readable catalogs in the world. Recent years, there
are more different language material of publications, to adapt this change, USMARC format has been improved.

[Chinese abstract]USMARC作为世界上使用范围较广的机读目录格式,主要用于描述、存储、交换、控制和检索机读书目数据。本文的目的就是探讨USMARC针对多文种文献资料采用的著录方法及其意义和作用。
