OCLC is one of the largest online documents and information organizations, the paper introduces the cataloguing software OCLC CatCD briefly, and mainly discusses the problems during the catalogue the literature of western languages by copy cataloging, and put forward the existing problems and solutions for these problems.

OCLC是世界上最大的联机文献信息服务机构之一,本文介绍其编目软件OCLC视窗编目光盘，并以套录OCLC CatCD的MARC记录为例，结合编目实践, 探讨利用该软件进行西文编目应注意的几个问题。
