Artykuł opisuje pojawienie się pojęcia zasobu oraz jego ewolucję. Pierwotne woluminy (roczniki, tomy) tworzyły egzemplarze ręcznie a następnie maszynowo dopisywane przez bibliotekarzy w katalogu kartkowym. Wraz z wprowadzeniem komputerowych systemów bibliotecznych przekształciły się one w zasób elektroniczny. Pojęcie to jest jednym z najważniejszych haseł w bibliotekarskim języku zawodowym.


[English abstract]

The paper describes the emergence of the notion of library resources and its subsequent evolution. Original volumes (annual bound volumes) were initially entered by librarians into the traditional card catalogue in the form of hand written cards which were supplemented, in time, with typed cards. With the introduction of library integrated systems, they have been naturally transformed into e-resources. This notion is now one of the most important notions on the professional language of librarians.
