Abstract

Student academic integrity issues have been receiving increased attention at colleges and universities due to the implications of web-based information access and recent high profile cases. Librarians and libraries are uniquely placed to collaborate with faculty and others on campus to provide students with the information and tools they need to avoid academically dishonest practices. Attend this session to learn about current academic integrity issues and initiatives in Canada and the United States, including the students' viewpoint, and the popular and effective collaboration projects underway at SFU Library.
