Abstract

Discusses the rationale behind, and development involved in building the Our Homes are Bleeding Digital Collection. This collection preserves and makes accessible key portions of the Union of British Columbia Indian Chiefs (UBCIC) Resource Centre, a collection housing many unique items of historical, legal,and cultural significance, important to scholars and the BC First Nations communities. This collection serves the purposes of preserving items in fragile media, and making key portions of the collection more available to the UBCIC community. The McKenna Bride Commission findings are included in this collection.
