Abstract

En el presente artículo se exponen posibles líneas de actuación que pueden poner en práctica las bibliotecas, con vistas a justificar y mejorar su servicio. Se analiza la medición, y los requisitos para desarrollar mediciones en nuestro campo. La información asi obtenida puede servir, tanto para justificar el servicio que presta la biblioteca, como para convertirse en entrada en un proceso de retroalimentación. Posteriormente se desarrolla el tema de la sistematización de la biblioteca, y los procesos de simulación y modelización, para terminar en los modelos matemáticos y la predicción, que deben empezar a plantearse como un horizonte utópico para nuestra disciplina.

[English abstract]

In the present article there are exposed possible lines of performance that can put into practice the libraries, with a view to justifying and to improve his service. The measurement is analyzed, and the requirements to develop measurements in our field. The information like that obtained can serve, so much to justify the service that gives the library, like to turn into entry in a process of feedback. Later there develops the topic of the systematizing of the library, and the processes of simulation and modeling, to end in the mathematical models and the prediction, which they must start raising as a utopian horizon for our discipline.
