Este libro fue premiado en mayo de 2007 con el galardón Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Cultura del Gobierno Bolivariano de la República de Venezuela. El lisbro consta de 31 ensayos cuya traza principal trata de la bibliocastia, la quema de libros, y bibliotecas y por ende de intelectuales via la quema de sus obras y a veces con la quema física de sus cuerpos. [English abstract]

This book (The Stake of Intellectuals) was given the award of the Ministry of the Popular Power for Culture of the Bolivarian Government of the Republic of Venezuela on May 2007. The book verses through 31 essays, about the book and libraries burning (bibliocastia) and therefore the burning of the works of intellectuals, and in many cases the physical burning of intellectuals' own bodies.
