ಇಸ್ರೋ ಉಪಗ್ರಹ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯವು ಕನ್ನಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ೧೯೯೫ ರಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಇದುವರೆಗೆ ೮೦೨ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ. ಈ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳ ಸೂಚಿ, ಗ್ರಂಥವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು, ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆ / ಶಿರೋನಾಮೆಗಳ ಅಕ್ಷರಮಾಲೆ ಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಒದಗಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಗ್ರಂಥವಿವರಣೆಗಳು ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯದ ಗಣಕೀಕೃತ ದತ್ತಾಂಶ [Computerised database] ದಲ್ಲಿ ಓದುಗರ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಗೆ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಜಾಲಬಂಧದ [LAN] ಮೂಲಕ ಲಭ್ಯವಿದೆ.ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಲ್ಲದೆ ಇತರರೂ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಯೊಜನ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರೆಂದು ಆಶಿಸಿ, ಹೊಸ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದನ್ನೂ ಒಳಗೊಂಡಂತೆ, ಓದುಗರ ಸಲಹೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

[English abstract]
ISRO Satellite Centre Library has started building a special collection of general and popular science and technology books in Kannada (regional language) from 1995. The OPAC of the library which is accessible on LAN and Spacenet (private and restricted) include these books along with nearly three lakh other records of books, reports, etc. This is specially generated catalogue of an unique collection of over 750 popular science and technology books in Kannada for the occasion of National Science Day and Karnataka Rajyothsava Day. This catalogue is published and distributed to school libraries, public libraries and other organizations committed to poplarise science so as to reach needy students, science writers and public. This can also be seen on library home page on LAN and also on Kannada site of the organization on Internet.
